ALGIERS- Ahmed Attaf, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Algerian Community Abroad, extended a warm welcome to the newly appointed Serbian Ambassador, Ana Petković, during a meeting held on Wednesday. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement confirming the reception.
In a formal ceremony, Ana Petković presented copies of her letters of credence to Minister Attaf, officially marking the commencement of her diplomatic mission as the Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to Algeria.
The meeting provided an opportunity for both officials to discuss and explore avenues for enhancing bilateral relations between Algeria and Serbia. The exchange of diplomatic credentials signifies the beginning of Ambassador Petković’s tenure and underscores the commitment of both nations to fostering cooperation and understanding.
Minister Attaf expressed Algeria’s pleasure in receiving Ambassador Petković and conveyed the country’s eagerness to strengthen ties with Serbia across various sectors. The diplomatic engagement emphasized the importance of diplomatic relations in fostering mutual respect, friendship, and collaboration.
