FMs of Algeria, France Discuss High-Level Engagements

ALGIERS- The Minister of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad, Ahmed Attaf, received a phone call from his French counterpart, Stéphane Séjourné, as announced by the ministry in a press release.
During the conversation, the two ministers conducted a comprehensive review of the state of bilateral relations across various dimensions and discussed the preparation for upcoming high-level engagements.
Additionally, they engaged in a thorough discussion on the ongoing deliberations at the Security Council regarding the Palestinian issue, particularly the unprecedented tragedy unfolding in the Gaza Strip, emphasizing the urgent need for appropriate action to address the humanitarian situation and to declare an unconditional ceasefire in Gaza under the auspices of urgency.
Both ministers underscored the necessity of reinvigorating the political process to achieve a just, lasting, and definitive resolution to the Palestinian question based on the two-state solution framework.
