FRATER-RAZES Laboratories, Strapplife Launch “Health Literacy” Caravan for Illiterate, Visually Impaired Individuals

ALGIERS- In a valuable effort to elevate public health literacy and empower marginalized communities, FRATER-RAZES Laboratories, in collaboration with the startup Strapplife, will inaugurate the “Health Literacy” caravan on January 10, 2024. This charitable initiative specifically targets illiterate and visually impaired individuals under the banner of “CAREVAN.”

The primary objective of CAREVAN is to conduct awareness campaigns in various sections of the National Office of Literacy. The initiative seeks to assist illiterate and visually impaired individuals in gaining autonomy in managing their medications, ultimately fostering a healthier and more informed population.

The journey of CAREVAN will commence in the Adrar region and subsequently extend its reach to other targeted areas, including Biskra, Laghouat, Djelfa, and Bouira.

This visionary initiative underscores the critical role of health literacy as a major public health concern, emphasizing the need for concerted efforts to address the unique challenges faced by illiterate and visually impaired individuals in managing their health.

The partnership between FRATER-RAZES Laboratories and Strapplife exemplifies a commitment to social responsibility and inclusivity, leveraging technology and collaborative outreach to bridge gaps in health literacy.
