French Judiciary Delivers a Blow to the Far Right: Court Overturns Forced Deportation of Algerian Influencer

Algiers, Algeria | February 7th, 2025 — In a landmark decision that undermines the French far right’s relentless push for mass deportations, the administrative court of Melun, on the outskirts of Paris, ruled on Thursday to annul the forced deportation order issued against an Algerian social media influencer. This directive underscores the judiciary’s insistence on due process and fundamental legal protections, countering the government’s increasingly aggressive stance on immigration.
