Gaza: A Syrian Renowned Journalist Acknowledges President Tebboune’s Courageous Stand

ALGIERS- In a heartfelt tribute, the prominent Syrian journalist Samir Chibani expressed profound admiration and gratitude towards President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, lauding him as the sole Arab leader to decisively reject the brutality of the Zionist entity currently wreaking havoc on the people of Gaza.
Chibani emphasized the significance of President Tebboune’s stance, noting that he is the first and only Arab leader to firmly denounce the Zionist aggression against the women, children, elderly, and sick in the martyred city of Gaza. He attributed this principled position to Tebboune’s commitment to the Algerian revolution and the shared Arab heritage.
“The spirit of the Algerian revolution and its people, faithful to their Arab history in struggle, the country of a million martyrs,” wrote the Syrian journalist, praising Algeria for standing against those who believe they are above reproach. Algeria, through President Tebboune, said no to the Zionist brutality that has claimed over ten thousand Palestinian lives, predominantly women and children, injuring tens of thousands more and destroying Gaza with banned white phosphorus bombs, in violation of international conventions.
Chibani bitterly recalled the recent meetings between U.S. Secretary of State Blinken and several Arab ministers, lamenting the absence of any Arab leader raising their voice against the blatant support shown to the Zionist entity. Expressing his dismay, he reminisced about the lost Arab dignity, referencing the historic decisions made during the Khartoum Arab Summit and the courageous act of the late King Faisal, who cut off oil supplies to Western countries during the October War.
Highlighting Algeria’s filing of a complaint with the International Criminal Court against the Zionist leaders, Chibani emphasized that President Abdelmadjid Tebboune was the first and only Arab leader to condemn the heinous crimes committed by the Zionists and their sponsors, further fueling his admiration for Algeria.
“Where are the Arab leaders and dignitaries as Gaza is dying and disappearing?” Chibani passionately questioned. In echoing his cry of anger and distress, we join in urging Arab leaders to unite against the murderous arrogance of the Zionists and their supporters.
