President Tebboune has called for the project’s expedited launch, reflecting its cultural and historical significance.
Progress in Housing, Technology, and Agriculture
The meeting also covered key updates in housing and infrastructure development. The government reviewed advancements in the Assisted Promotional Housing Program (LPA) in the Algiers region, reaffirming its commitment to addressing housing needs and improving citizens’ living standards.
Technological infrastructure received notable attention, with discussions on the nationwide fiber optic deployment program. This initiative is part of Algeria’s broader digital transformation strategy, aimed at enhancing connectivity and fostering economic growth.
In agriculture, the government assessed measures to combat the spread of foot-and-mouth disease, ensuring the safety and sustainability of the nation’s livestock sector.
