Algiers- Algeria, May 11, 2024 – Prime Minister Nadir Larbaoui chaired a government meeting on Saturday, where several crucial issues were addressed, as stated by the Prime Minister’s office.

One of the main topics of discussion was the implementation of directives from the President of the Republic aimed at fully activating the new investment and economic land framework.

During the session, Minister of Industry and Pharmaceutical Production Ali Aoun provided an update on the progress of establishing the National Industrial Land Agency. This agency will oversee the preparation and connection operations to various roads and networks in industrial zones.

The government also received a presentation on the advancement of the Algerian National Center for Digital Services, emphasizing the acceleration of the digitization process.

In addition, the meeting examined the regulatory framework for postal shipments and discussed ways to strengthen regulations regarding the disposal procedures of seized or confiscated narcotics and psychotropic substances. This is part of efforts to prevent drug abuse and suppress illicit drug trade.

In preparation for the upcoming summer season, the government reviewed measures related to the general rules for the use and operation of beaches. These measures aim to enhance beach management and provide quality services to holidaymakers.
