Algeria has one of the greatest potentials for the production of green hydrogen. Researchers and specialists in the field of renewable energies are increasing experimental studies in order to achieve the required efficiency. This is shown in this report broadcast this Saturday morning on Channel 3 of Algerian Radio.
Algerian experts have the necessary know-how to engage in this field, reassures Professor Mohamed Hamoudi, chief of staff at the Ministry of Energy Transition and Renewable Energies. He adds: “We have developed processing and storage structures, as well as the experience to use them. Several research projects for the production of green hydrogen have been carried out in Algeria. The Renewable Hydrogen Division Research Director at the CDER Renewable Energy Development Center, Rafika Bouderias, said that the division in question has a patent for a hydrogen torch. The research team also produced a hydrogen detector.
