Algiers, Algeria | June 23rd, 2024 — Mustapha Hidaoui, President of the Higher Council of Youth (CSJ), delivered a compelling call to action on Saturday in Bouira, urging young citizens to register in large numbers for the upcoming presidential election scheduled for September 7.
Addressing a gathering at the Ali Zaâmoum Cultural Center, attended by youth representatives from various municipalities within the province, Hidaoui highlighted the pivotal role of youth participation in ensuring the success and legitimacy of the upcoming electoral process.
“I urge our youth to register on the electoral rolls to ensure the success of the important electoral event on September 7th,” stated Hidaoui passionately during the meeting.
He emphasized the critical need for young people to actively engage in the political life of the nation. “Our youth must play a proactive role in the political landscape of the country. It is crucial that we raise awareness among them about the significance of the September 7th election, encouraging them to register on the electoral lists and participate in the voting process,” he added.
Anis Abdelilah Ailloul, Vice President of the CSJ, outlined a comprehensive outreach strategy aimed at educating and motivating young voters to participate actively in the electoral process. “The Higher Council of Youth has developed a robust program to inform young people about the importance of the upcoming elections. In the coming days, we will conduct field visits to encourage young voters to register on the electoral lists,” explained Ailloul.
