Upon his arrival at Muscat International Airport, he was warmly welcomed by Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, symbolizing the deep-rooted friendship that characterizes Algeria-Oman relations.

Additionally, President Tebboune received a message from Oman’s Foreign Minister, Badr bin Hamad bin Hamoud Al Busaidi, which included congratulations following Tebboune’s re-election for a second term.

The recent 8th session of the Algerian-Omani Joint Commission, held in June in Algiers, highlighted the convergence of views between the two countries in the face of various regional and international challenges. This gathering fostered dialogue among business representatives from both countries, identifying promising investment opportunities across sectors.

Oman’s ambassador to Algeria, Saif Bin Nasser Bin Rashid Al-Badaai, emphasized in a statement to Oman News Agency that the two countries share deeply entrenched relations characterized by high-level political coordination. He described President Tebboune’s state visit as “historic,” aimed at enhancing bilateral relations and opening up broader prospects in line with the leaders’ commitment to promoting partnership.
