He emphasized the country’s stability, projecting that Algeria is entering a comfort zone, recognized as a principled ally rather than an adversary.

Reflecting on the motivations behind his candidacy, Tebboune articulated the need to continue the progress achieved thus far. He acknowledged the unprecedented global health crisis and the challenging transition from one system to another, which requires moving towards a better, cleaner, and purer future. He expressed satisfaction over overcoming efforts aimed at destabilizing the country by those who previously enjoyed undue privileges.

The President affirmed that the new procedures and laws introduced in recent years have established a new reality, asserting, “Algeria is on the right path, thanks to the will of the people, which is part of the divine will.” He praised the Algerian citizens for distinguishing between demagogy and reality, and for their belief in a brighter future.

On the international front, President Tebboune highlighted his participation in the G7 Summit in Italy, viewing it as a confirmation of Algeria’s restored status. He emphasized that Algeria’s voice is recognized globally, grounded in tangible facts, and aligned with the principles of its valiant martyrs. “Algeria is known as a balancing force, and our approach is based on mutual interests that benefit the people,” he explained, asserting that strong domestic stability is crucial for robust international diplomacy.

Tebboune extended his gratitude to the Algerian community abroad, acknowledging their significant role. He recalled the country’s support for the diaspora during the COVID-19 pandemic, ensuring their safe return and provision of free accommodation. He reaffirmed his commitment to defending any citizen facing injustice and ensuring the state’s support through legal aid.

Commenting on his recent visit to Tizi Ouzou, Tebboune described it as highly successful, appreciating the warm welcome from the citizens. He noted the region’s historical and developmental significance and emphasized efforts to address developmental delays, such as in healthcare, by opening new hospitals and improving infrastructure.

Forward to a Prosperous Algeria

Concluding his address, President Tebboune underscored the transformative changes underway, urging collective effort for national progress. “Algeria is unique, and I have always defended my country,” he declared. He reiterated his belief in Algeria’s potential and affirmed the people’s right to decide their future. “If approved, we will prove together that Algeria will continue to make history. The Constitution states that power belongs to the people, and they have the final word,” he asserted.
