ALGIERS- The directors of the accredited electronic newspapers in Algeria have sent a letter of gratitude to the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune. This letter expresses their appreciation for his recent decision to allocate a portion of public deal advertisements to electronic media. The directors also commend the President for his unwavering efforts to advance the media sector in Algeria.
This allocation will undoubtedly provide a much-needed boost to the sector, allowing it to thrive and grow.

We, the directors of accredited electronic newspapers, would like to express our sincere gratitude for your recent decision to include the electronic press as a new mechanism for publicizing public deals. This decision is a significant step towards promoting transparency and fairness in the media industry, and we commend you for your dedication to supporting the media and protecting media institutions.
Your unwavering commitment to establishing legal rules that frame the media profession, especially electronic journalism, and issuing necessary texts to upgrade the media service and enhance professionalism and freedom of the press is truly admirable. By enabling the electronic press to compete for public advertising, you have opened the door to transparent financing, which will lead to the development of performance and content and the promotion of the professional and social rights of journalists.
We are particularly grateful for your directives in the Council of Ministers to formulate a draft law for the electronic press and the written press, in addition to the organic law for the media. This clear incentive for professionals and publishers in the electronic press will help to end problems that were previously raised, and we appreciate the opportunity to be a part of this positive change.
