In anticipation of test match: Housing Minister inspects new Tizi-Ouzou stadium -Photos

ALGIERS- 

In anticipation of the test match announced for the month of May, the Minister of Housing, Mohamed Tarek Belaribi, made an inspection visit to the new 50,000-seat stadium in Tizi-Ouzou on Thursday.

During this third visit in less than two months, after that of March 31 and April 11, Belaribi visited the different parts of the stadium to inquire about the state of its preparation to host the test match.

The Ministry has released a statement regarding the Minister’s visit to the athletics stadium. During his visit, the Minister observed significant progress in the track’s construction. It is worth noting that during his previous visit, the Minister had instructed the company responsible for the project to accelerate their pace and address any concerns.

The Minister’s visit to the athletics stadium was a testament to his commitment to ensuring that the project is completed on time and to the highest standards. The progress made thus far is a clear indication that the Minister’s directives have been taken seriously and implemented effectively.

The minister then visited the training stadium and the changing and locker rooms of the main stadium whose work is finally completed.

During this visit, he also inspected the state-of-the-art training facilities and luxurious accommodations offered at the stadium hotel.

The Minister also inquired about the various details, in particular the equipment intended to facilitate the work of the technicians of the TV channels, the water heating system, the ventilation system, the surveillance camera system, and the control system of the entrance doors.

The Minister then held a meeting with the various players in the stadium work where a presentation reported that the work was 97% complete.
