ALGIERS- Walid Sadi, the president of the Algerian Football Federation, inaugurated the National Technical College at the National Technical Center (CTN) in Sidi Moussa, Algiers. The ceremony was attended by around sixty officials from the national football scene, including the national team coach Djamel Belmadi, directors, and department heads of the National Technical Directorate (DTN), regional technical directors (DTR), technical directors of provinces (DTW), and the 16 technical sports directors (DTS) from professional clubs.
Also present were the Secretary-General of the FAF, Nadir Bouzenad, and other representatives from the sports community, according to a statement from the federation.
Presided over by the DTN, Ameur Mansoul, the National Technical College is an advisory body. In his opening speech, the president of the FAF expressed his satisfaction at participating in these important moments, reiterating his commitment to supporting the DTN and the National Technical College in their quest to contribute innovative ideas and provide the necessary means to achieve the technical and strategic objectives set for Algerian football. Ameur Mansoul expressed his readiness to “contribute to defining the map of Algerian football,” emphasizing that “this would be a subject of reflection in the upcoming meetings.”
Among the assigned missions of the college are “issuing opinions on animation systems and formulas, training programs, as well as the content of training sessions and the detection and selection of young talents,” said its president. He reminded that “this body can meet twice a year, upon the convocation of its president or in an extraordinary session at the request of its president or the president of the FAF, in accordance with Article 33.”
