Algiers, Algeria | October 1st, 2024 — The government of Indonesia has officially approved the appointment of Abdelouahab Osmane as the new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria to the Republic of Indonesia, according to a statement issued on Tuesday by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad.
This diplomatic approval marks a significant step in reinforcing the already strong bilateral relations between Algeria and Indonesia. The new ambassador’s mission will focus on further enhancing political, economic, and cultural ties between the two nations, promoting mutual interests on regional and global fronts.
Abdelouahab Osmane, known for his extensive diplomatic experience, is expected to play a crucial role in strengthening Algeria’s presence in Southeast Asia and deepening cooperation with Indonesia in various sectors, including trade, education, and energy.
