Inspection Visit of Army General Saïd Chanegriha to Béni Messous Mother-Child Hospital

ALGIERS-Army General Saïd Chanegriha, Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army (ANP), conducted a comprehensive working and inspection visit to the specialized Béni Messous mother and child hospital in Algiers on Thursday, as announced by the Ministry of National Defense in a press release.
As part of the ANP’s ongoing monitoring and inspection of infrastructure projects across various regions, Army General Saïd Chanegriha visited the 1st Military Region’s Béni Messous maternal and child hospital on Thursday, October 26, 2023. The visit was aimed at assessing the progress and quality of the hospital’s facilities and services, according to the same source.
The presence of the Commander of the 1st Military Region, the Central Director of Military Health Services, and the central directors of the General Staff of the ANP and the Ministry of National Defense further emphasized the significance of this occasion, as highlighted in the press release.
Following the welcoming ceremony, the Army General was provided with a comprehensive presentation by the hospital director, detailing the features and capabilities of the newly constructed health building. Subsequently, he inspected the various departments and infrastructure of the hospital, which boasts a capacity of 278 beds and specializes in maternal and child illnesses. The addition of this hospital unit is expected to enhance the existing chain of military health establishments, as stated in the press release.
During the visit, Army General Saïd Chanegriha emphasized the importance of preserving this new infrastructure and ensuring the provision of exceptional medical care to military personnel and their dependents. He provided instructions and guidance to the directors and staff of the hospital, emphasizing their responsibility in maintaining the facility and delivering the highest standard of healthcare, as concluded by the Ministry of National Defense.
