ALGIERS- On the occasion of International Women’s Day, President Abdelmadjid Tebboune of Algeria conveyed a heartfelt message to Algerian women, acknowledging their pivotal role in society and their remarkable achievements across various professional domains.
President Tebboune underscored the significant place occupied by women in Algerian society and celebrated their success in the workforce and numerous other professional spheres. He attributed this success to the patriotic spirit prevalent among Algerian women, highlighting their unwavering determination and loyalty to Algeria. In his message, the President wrote, “Algerian women, through their strong determination and loyalty to Algeria, have reinforced their position in society. They have excelled in climbing the ranks of professions and positions, demonstrating their ability in various responsibilities.”
Furthermore, President Tebboune emphasized the extensive representation of Algerian women in vital sectors such as education, aerospace, and healthcare. He praised their capabilities, stating, “Algerian women have demonstrated abilities that make us proud… They have consistently proven themselves as worthy heirs to the martyrs of Algeria who fought alongside the revolutionaries in historic battles.”
In his letter, the President paid tribute to Algerian women who courageously confronted extremist terrorism, acknowledging their sacrifices in overcoming dark forces. “Thanks to their sacrifices, Algerian women have triumphed over the forces of evil and darkness,” he emphasized.
President Tebboune concluded his message by affirming that the building of a New Algeria requires the full support and participation of women. He assured that women would be granted all their rights, and their dignity would be preserved. “Women will have all their rights, and their dignity will be preserved,” he concluded, emphasizing the indispensable role of women in shaping the future of Algeria.
