Algiers, Algeria | May 23, 2024 — On Thursday, Algerian Minister of Justice Abderrachid Tabi attended the inauguration ceremony of Chad’s newly elected President, Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno, representing Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
President Mahamat Déby, who was elected on May 6th, officially took the oath of office in a ceremony held in N’Djamena. This event marks the beginning of Déby’s term following his election victory.
