“Israel Will Burn”: Netanyahu Receives Terrifying Threat
BY: Dr. Hana Saada
ALGIERS- The families of Zionist prisoners held by Hamas have issued a chilling threat to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, warning of setting ‘Israel’ ablaze if a deal is not reached to release their loved ones.
In a dramatic escalation of protests against Netanyahu, the families of the prisoners, who participated in a rally on Saturday, March 30th, declared their commitment to a widespread civil struggle.
Sheri Sigal, daughter of Aviva and Keith, who were held by Hamas in Gaza, urged the Zionist people to join a broad civil resistance movement, stating, “We will not stand idly by any longer, and we will not plead anymore. We know there is a deal on the table, and you (Netanyahu and his government) are obstructing it.”
She continued, “From today, you will see us all over Israel… We will burn Israel because we are tired of your lies. You tell us you are doing everything. No, you are not doing everything.”
“We ask the entire state of Israel not to calm down or remain silent and to come out with us to the streets. These are not just our streets; they belong to everyone. As long as these people do not return home, we will not return either. We will all go out to the streets and burn the country,” she added.
Shira Albagh, the mother of prisoner Leary Albagh, also addressed the rally, stating, “176 days have passed, and for 4224 hours, I have heard Leary screaming, ‘Mom, save me.’ The Israeli people will not forget or forgive anyone who prevents a deal that will bring them back to us. The excuses are over.”
“The negotiating team has been given the mandate to reach an agreement. Dear citizens of Israel, after months spent here alongside us, it is time to come out and fight indifference for the sake of life. I ask you now – go down to the streets and let us be one voice. We will not return to our lives until everyone returns… Exchange deal now,” she emphasized.
The Saturday night protest was one of several marches in recent weeks, with one local protester from Qasarya named Hanna Ziesel telling the Times of Israel, “The aim is to increase pressure on him (Netanyahu) until he goes to new elections.”
Violent clashes erupted Saturday night between Zionist police and protesters demanding the ouster of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and an immediate exchange deal in several streets in Tel Aviv.
