ALGIERS- The Minister of Industry and Pharmaceutical Production, Ali Aoun, held a meeting this Monday with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Algeria, Abdallah bin Nasser Al-Busairi, along with a delegation from “Jamjoom Pharma” led by Mahmoud Yousef Jamjoom, Chairman of the Board of Directors. The Ministry of Industry and Pharmaceutical Production has reported this significant development.
The primary focus of the meeting was the ongoing partnership project with Jamjoom Pharma, which has already commenced production. Additionally, both parties discussed the potential expansion of the project in the near future to encompass new types of drugs that would contribute to meeting the demands of the national market.
The minister emphasized that the production of these drugs would undoubtedly help alleviate the market fluctuations currently experienced. He further highlighted the government’s commitment to providing unwavering support and assistance to genuine investors.
In response, the Saudi ambassador expressed his appreciation for the remarkable growth witnessed in Algeria’s pharmaceutical industry. He also acknowledged the favorable conditions provided to the Jamjoom complex project and other investors, in line with the new investment law.
