Japan and Algeria Strengthen Ties with the Establishment of Intergovernmental Joint Economic Committee

Algiers, Algeria -In a momentous event signifying the growing bilateral relations between Japan and the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, an “Agreement for the Establishment of the Japan-Algeria Intergovernmental Joint Economic Committee” was signed on July 27 in Algiers. The agreement, signed by H.E. Mr. KONO Akira, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Algeria, and H.E. Mr. Noureddine KHANDOUDI, Secretary General ad interim of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad of Algeria, aims to forge a powerful partnership focused on enhancing economic and trade ties between the two nations.
