Julius Maada Bio: Sierra Leone and Algeria Decide to Strengthen Relations

ALGIERS- Sierra Leonean President Julius Maada Bio affirmed on Wednesday that Algeria and his country had decided to enhance their bilateral cooperation in various fields, particularly in commerce.
In a joint press statement following his talks with President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the Sierra Leonean president described his meeting with President Tebboune as “important.” While addressing issues of common interest with President Tebboune, Julius Maada Bio emphasized the decision to strengthen relations between the two countries on all fronts. This includes the exchange of expertise in several domains and an increase in the volume of trade between the two nations.
The Sierra Leonean president also highlighted “the convergence of positions between the two countries regarding the atrocities suffered by the Palestinian people and the resolution of the Western Sahara issue within the framework of international charters.”
