ALGIERS-The head of the Algerian Economic Renewal Council, Kamal Moula, was installed as the President of the Partnership Council for Vocational Training and Education at the ceremony held at the Higher School of Hotel Management and Catering in Ain Benian. The ceremony was presided over by the Minister of Vocational Training and Education, Yacine Merabi.

The appointment of Kamal Moula as President of the Partnership Council for Vocational Training and Education follows the provisions of the presidential decree dated April 5 of the previous year.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by prominent figures in the state, along with members of the government, including Lakhdar Rekhroukh, the Minister of Public Works and Basic Infrastructure, and Mokhtar Didouche, the Minister of Tourism and Traditional Industries.

Driving Economic Transformation: Kamel Moula’s Leadership Propels Algerian Economic Renewal Council (CREA) to New Heights

The Algerian Economic Renewal Council (CREA) under the leadership of President Kamel Moula has been actively involved both locally and internationally, fostering strong partnerships to promote long-term economic stability and prosperity.

Aligned with President Abdelmadjid Tebboune’s vision of prioritizing economic issues, Algeria has embarked on an ambitious reform program to enhance its legal framework, removing restrictions on foreign investment. This includes eliminating the state’s pre-emption right on share transfers involving foreign shareholders, allowing investors to finance projects with facilities from foreign lenders, and revising the ’49/51 rule’ to apply only to specific sectors.

These reforms aim to shift Algeria from a rentier economy to one with diversified incomes, reducing dependence on oil exports and mitigating the impact of price volatility. President Kamel Moula is dedicated to ensuring the success of these measures, creating an environment conducive to sustainable development and a thriving business climate.

As the head of the CREA, Kamel Moula is committed to combining efforts and energies under the banner of “economic patriotism” to contribute to the development of the national economy. His leadership, rooted in his successful term as the head of the Club of Entrepreneurs and Industrialists of Mitidja (CEIMI), reflects a strong focus on improving the investment climate and supporting investors.

In addition to his role in CREA, Kamel Moula is the General Manager of Venus Laboratories, a leading private company in the cosmetics sector. His extensive economic diplomacy efforts include building partnerships with foreign entities, exemplified by the signing of a partnership protocol with the French Business Movement (MEDEF) and cooperation agreements with organizations in Mauritania and Italy.

Locally, CREA has collaborated with the Algerian Investment Promotion Agency (AAPI) to provide support to national and international economic operators. The inauguration of a new Regional Office in Oran province further emphasizes the council’s commitment to regional development.

Empowering Tomorrow’s Entrepreneurs: Kamel Moula’s Entrepreneurship Forum Sparks Collaboration and Hope for a Transparent Business Future in Algeria

In a recent event hosted by Kamel Moula, the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, and high-profile figures, including Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Kamel Baddari and Minister of Knowledge Economy, Start-ups, and Small and Medium Enterprises Yacine El Mahdi Oualid, gathered for the “Entrepreneurship Days” forum. This initiative provided a valuable platform for aspiring entrepreneurs to engage with established economic stakeholders, tapping into their expertise and insights.

The primary goal of the forum was to facilitate meaningful interactions between young project holders and seasoned professionals, opening doors to the job market and creating an environment conducive to transforming innovative ideas into tangible projects. Beyond job opportunities, the event aimed to instill hope among honest and ethical businessmen, fostering a commitment to contributing to a clean and transparent business environment.

The collaboration between key figures and the Algerian Economic Renewal Council underscores a dedication to fostering entrepreneurship and driving economic growth in Algeria. As the nation focuses on economic reform, initiatives like these play a pivotal role in shaping a thriving business landscape and empowering the next generation of Algerian entrepreneurs.

Recognizing Kamel Moula’s significant contributions, he was honored with the highest distinction, the Order of National Merit, by President Abdelmadjid Tebboune on December 4, 2021. CREA, under President Kamel Moula’s leadership, continues to play a crucial role in shaping Algeria’s economic landscape and fostering international collaborations for mutual benefit.
