The Minister of Public Works Kamel Nasri proceeded Tuesday to the kick-off of the works of duplication of the RN 01 section connecting the wilayas of Djelfa to Laghouat on a distance of 64 km.
Nasri insisted with the companies in charge of this project, endowed with an envelope of 19 billion DA, on the need to “reduce the completion times, while maintaining the quality of the work”.
“All the constraints that were at the origin of the delay in the launch of this duplication project have been lifted given the importance of this axis and its strategic dimension, as it constitutes a link between the North and the South of the country,” the minister said.
Nasri added that the designation of three companies to carry out this motorway duplication aims “to intensify efforts for the completion, as soon as possible, of the last section of the motorway axis linking Algiers to Ghardaïa, over a distance of 600 km”.
