Algiers, Algeria | August 12th, 2024 — Upon her return to Algeria from the Paris 2024 Olympics, 17-year-old Kaylia Nemour was visibly moved as she celebrated her historic gold medal win in the uneven bars—an unprecedented achievement that marks the first Olympic gymnastics title for both Algeria and Africa.
