Libya Grants Agrément to Algeria’s New Ambassador Abdelkrim Rekaibi

Algiers, Algeria | January 20th, 2025 —  In a significant development for Algeria’s diplomatic relations with Libya, the Libyan government has officially granted agrément for the appointment of Abdelkrim Rekaibi as the new Algerian Ambassador to Libya. The announcement was made on Monday through a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the National Community Abroad, and African Affairs.

Abdelkrim Rekaibi, who now holds the title of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria to the State of Libya, is poised to strengthen bilateral relations between the two nations.
