ALGIERS- The Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture Production, Ahmed Badani, chaired a coordination meeting, Wednesday, dedicated to reviewing preparations to supply the national market with fish products and aquaculture during the blessed month of Ramadan.
According to a statement from the Ministry of Fisheries, Badani instructed the necessity of creating all suitable conditions to meet the needs of the national market for fish products during the holy month. Additionally, preparations and arrangements for all direct sales points belonging to the wilaya chambers or those present in neighborhood markets, Ramadan markets, and fishing ports were also discussed.
The minister emphasized the importance of involving professionals in solidarity campaigns during the holy month of Ramadan. He also stressed the necessity of mobilizing everyone to ensure an abundance of fish products and appropriate organizational conditions for marketing them in all wilayas. This will be achieved through intensive coordination between directorates, chambers, supply institutions, and aquaculture breeders, in compliance with the instructions of the President of the Republic, who attaches great importance to providing the best economic and social conditions for citizens, especially during the holy month.
