Algiers, Algeria – The Ministry of Religious Affairs has officially declared that “Mawlid Ennabaoui,” the revered occasion commemorating the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), will be observed on Thursday, September 28, 2023. This announcement was made on Tuesday, underlining the significance of this day on the Islamic calendar.
In a statement released by the Ministry of Religious Affairs, it was stated that “the Prophet’s birthday will be celebrated on Thursday, 12 Rabi’ al-Awwal 1445 AH, corresponding to September 28, 2023 AD.” This declaration sets the stage for Muslims around the world to come together in unity and reverence for the life and teachings of the Prophet.
