Meetings of permanent committees of Arab Parliament: Senator Koreichi represents Algeria

ALGIERS- A parliamentary delegation from the Council of Nation, headed by Senator Abdelkrim Koreichi, Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Affairs, Political Affairs and National Security of the Council of Nation, took part in the meetings of the standing committees and the fourth session of the 3rd legislature of the Arab Parliament (AP), which are being held from April 26 to 30 in Cairo, the Egyptian capital.

According to a statement from the upper house of Parliament, the themes inherent in the situation prevailing in the Arab world and the ways and means of meeting the various challenges facing the Ummah in the political, security and socio-economi sphere were tabled.

Senator Abdelkrim Koreichi also took part in the work of the permanent committee in charge of Palestinian issues, during which the “dangerous” situation prevailing in the Palestinian territories was mentioned, denouncing, on the occasion, the resurgence of attacks carried out by the Zionist occupation authorities against the holy sites in the occupied city of Al-Quds, as well as the escalation of repression and the increase in the number of Palestinian victims.

In his capacity as Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Affairs, Politics and National Security in the Arab Parliament, Abdelkrim Koreichi also took part in the meeting of the AP bureau, which precedes the meetings of the permanent committees and the plenary session of the AP./
