Military parade: sophisticated defense system and professional performance

The imposing military parade, organized Tuesday under the supervision of the President of the Republic, Supreme Head of the Armed Forces, Minister of National Defense, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, as part of the festivities celebrating the 60th anniversary of the recovery of national sovereignty, was marked by a distinguished participation of the forces of the National People’s Army ( ANP ), reflecting the meteoric evolution of the national defense system, the modernization of military equipment and the precision of professional performance.

At the start of the parade, which crisscrossed the national road N 11, along Djamaâ El – Djazair, and which took place in the presence of presidents and delegations from several friendly and brotherly countries, President Tebboune reviewed, in the company of General of Army, Said Chanegriha, Head of State – Major of the ANP, the various formations participating in this parade representing all the forces of the ANP, and this, against the backdrop of a salvo of 60 cannon shots, while greeting the citizens present on the spot.

Before taking a seat in the official gallery and before the execution of the national anthem, the President of the Republic delivered an address in which he affirmed that the military parade conferred a “exceptional stamp “at the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the recovery of national sovereignty, announcing the official kick-off of this event, with in front, the squares of the Musical Formation and the Cavalry under the Republican Guard, followed by the squares of the Mujahideen, the Cadets of the Nation.

Also paraded squares of Forces Commandments, Military Schools, as well as squares of the General Directorate of National Security, the Directorate General of Customs and the Directorate General of Civil Protection.

The imposing military parade was marked by a brilliant performance and extreme precision of the ANP air force formations, where an aerial formation of 6 basic and advanced training aircraft, decorated the capital’s sky with national colors, followed by aerial training of an advanced transport instruction aircraft, accompanied by two basic and advanced training aircraft.

A squadron of 8 advanced training aircraft and support – YAK fire – 130, an aerial formation of 3 tactical transport aircraft C – 130, a squadron of 3 BE transport aircraft – 350 and a tactical transport aircraft IL 76 – MD flew over the official gallery installed at Djamaâ El – Djazaïr, under the applause of the guests of Algeria.

Air Force pilots performed a refueling operation in flight by a supply aircraft IL – 78, accompanied by 2 SU 30 – MKI. At the end of the aerial exhibition, a quadruple of fighter aircraft accompanied by two SU – 24 – MK, simulated a refueling operation in flight.
