Hanoi, Vietnam – Minister Ali Aoun, the driving force behind the Algerian-Vietnamese partnership, took a significant step forward in bolstering bilateral cooperation during his ongoing visit to Vietnam. On Monday, Aoun, accompanied by the Vietnamese Minister of Construction, Mr. Nguyen Van Thang, co-chaired the inauguration of the 12th Algerian-Vietnamese joint commission in Hanoi.
The Algerian Ministry of Industry and Pharmaceutical Production, in an official press release, highlighted that the commission’s activities are pivotal to the dynamic growth of the collaborative relationship between the two nations.
Fostering Stronger Relations
“The objective of this joint commission is to fortify the already robust relations and ties between Algeria and Vietnam,” the press release elucidated, underlining the shared commitment to deepening this partnership.
Participants of the commission’s meetings are set to engage in discussions that assess the current state of cooperation between Algeria and Vietnam while also exploring avenues for further enhancements in all domains of collaboration, according to the ministry.

The 12th Algerian-Vietnamese joint commission is scheduled to remain in session until Wednesday, demonstrating the enduring commitment of both nations to a strong and enduring relationship. In addition to the commission’s work, Minister Aoun will preside over the Forum of Algerian-Vietnamese businessmen, further emphasizing the economic aspect of this partnership.
