ALGIERS- In a momentous occasion, Minister of Industry and Pharmaceutical Production, Ali Aoun, laid the foundation stone for a pharmaceutical manufacturing unit by the public sector group Saidal in Mostaganem. The future facility will specialize in the production of ophthalmological and veterinary medicines, with a substantial investment of DZD 1.9 billion.
Covering an expansive area of 11,000 square meters and boasting an annual production capacity of 11 million units, this project is poised to significantly contribute to the pharmaceutical landscape. Moreover, it is expected to generate 120 direct job opportunities upon its operational commencement, further contributing to the region’s employment sector. This initiative aligns with the government’s commitment to bolstering the pharmaceutical industry and ensuring sustainable growth.
