Minister Attaf Engages in Bilateral Talks with Rwandan Counterpart in Doha

ALGIERS– Ahmed Attaf, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad of Algeria, conducted bilateral talks on Monday with his Rwandan counterpart, Vincent Biruta, on the sidelines of his participation as the personal representative of the Algerian President at the Doha Forum.
A statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported that both ministers discussed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation within the framework of the upcoming agenda, particularly focusing on the work of the Algeria-Rwanda Joint Committee and the proceedings of the Political Consultations Committee.
The discussions delved into exchanging perspectives on the latest developments in the Middle East, the Great Lakes region, and the Sahel-Saharan region, reflecting a shared interest in regional affairs.
Minister Attaf emphasized the importance of intensifying diplomatic ties and fostering collaboration between Algeria and Rwanda. The discussions aimed to identify areas of mutual interest and opportunities for joint initiatives that align with the strategic priorities of both nations.
