Minister Attaf Holds Talks with Libyan Counterpart

ALGIERS- During his participation in the high-level session of the Security Council, Mr. Ahmed Attaf, Minister of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad, held bilateral discussions today with Taher Al-Baour, the Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in the Libyan government of national unity. This meeting took place at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.
Minister Attaf and his Libyan counterpart engaged in a constructive dialogue, emphasizing the importance of finding a peaceful resolution to the Palestinian cause. They expressed deep concern over the aggression witnessed in the Gaza Strip and underscored the urgent need for international intervention to ensure the protection of innocent civilians and the restoration of stability in the region.
Furthermore, the discussions delved into the evolving situation in Libya and the broader Maghreb region. Minister Attaf and Mr. Al-Baour exchanged valuable insights on the political, social, and economic challenges faced by their respective nations.
