ALGIERS- Algeria’s Minister of National Education, Abdelhakim Belabed, describes President Abdelmadjid Tebboune’s speech before the parliament chambers as a “heartwarming and reassuring message” during an awards ceremony for the winners of the National Writing Competition organized by Sonatrach.
Belabed, speaking at the event honoring the winners of the national writing competition organized by Sonatrach, emphasized that the President’s address is a source of pride for the sons and daughters of Algeria. He highlighted the constitution’s commitment to equal knowledge for all Algerian citizens.
Regarding the national writing competition held by Sonatrach, Belabed noted that it aims to discover writing talents among young people. Sixty winners were selected, symbolizing the 60th anniversary of Sonatrach’s establishment. He praised Sonatrach’s significant achievements over the past 60 years, both regionally and globally, and emphasized the importance of sustaining collaboration through events like these.
Minister Belabed called on all stakeholders in the education sector to support Algerian schools and contribute to the formation of a generation that will lead the way in the future.
This recognition and celebration of literary talent, coupled with the acknowledgment of Sonatrach’s milestones, showcase the intersections of cultural and industrial achievements in Algeria, reinforcing the commitment to nurturing both intellectual and economic growth.
