ALGIERS- Minister of Housing, Mr. Mohamed Tarek Belaribi, has provided crucial information about the upcoming AADL 3 housing program during his official visit to Béchar province. As the government gears up for the program’s launch, several key aspects have been highlighted to guide potential applicants.
Preparations and Executive Decrees: Mr. Belaribi emphasized that preparations for the AADL 3 program are in full swing, aligning with the directives of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune. The establishment of a dedicated working group and the concurrent update of executive decrees signal the government’s commitment to a streamlined and efficient launch.
Impact of Construction Material Costs: Acknowledging the current rise in construction material costs, Minister Belaribi assured the public that the pricing structure for the housing units would be revised accordingly. This reflects the government’s responsiveness to economic factors affecting the construction industry.
Digital Subscription Process: In a move towards modernization, the subscription process for AADL 3 will be fully digital. Applicants will utilize their National Identification Number (NIM) and insurance number during the subscription process, streamlining and expediting the application procedure.
Timeline for Subscription and Construction: Anticipating a high demand for the housing program, Minister Belaribi disclosed that subscription operations and construction activities are slated to commence in the first half of 2024. This timeline allows for adequate preparation and assessment of the necessary land plots to facilitate a smooth launch.
Eligibility Criteria: Responding to inquiries about eligibility, the Minister clarified that the criteria established for the first two AADL programs would remain unchanged. Factors such as age and income will continue to be key considerations for applicants. However, the valuation of housing units will be adjusted to account for fluctuations in construction material prices. Minister Belaribi emphasized that subscribers’ incomes would be taken into account during the evaluation process.
