ALGIERS- Brahim Merad, the Minister of the Interior, Local Assemblies, and Territorial Planning, highlighted President Abdelmadjid Tebboune’s continuous focus on addressing citizen concerns during a visit to Relizane on Sunday. The minister, after overseeing a presentation on the electronic platform for registering complaints and correspondence exchange at the municipality of Hmadna, emphasized the President’s dedication to ensuring citizens’ well-being and improving their living conditions.

The electronic portal, developed in collaboration with the Republic’s ombudsman services, is part of the government’s efforts to modernize public facilities. It aims to optimize the handling of citizen complaints and requests, enhance coordination between various sectors, combat bureaucracy, promote transparency, and modernize public services, according to Minister Merad.

During his inspection of a primary school and a healthcare facility in the Houaoura locality, part of the Jdioua municipality, Minister Merad underscored the high-level attention given by the country’s leadership to improving school conditions, heating, school meals, and healthcare provision.

Continuing his visit to the province, the minister inspected various development and economic projects, including the “Bensaha Bouziane” pilot farm in the Jdioua municipality and production units in the Sidi Khettab industrial zone. Minister Merad is also set to preside over the installation ceremony of the new governor of Relizane.
