Minister of Communication Laagab Offers Condolences on Passing of Journalist Houria Ayari

ALGIERS- The Minister of Communication, Mr. Mohamed Laagab, extended his condolences on Saturday following the passing of journalist Houria Ayari on Friday at the age of 53 after battling a prolonged illness.
“In his message, the minister expressed heartfelt condolences and sincere sympathy to the family of the deceased and the entire media community, praying to Almighty Allah to encompass the departed with His holy mercy and grant patience and solace to her family and loved ones. To Allah we belong and to Him we shall return,” stated a ministry communiqué on Saturday.
The late Houria Ayari had an illustrious career, contributing to several national newspapers, including El Yaoum, El Fadjr, and Echourouk El Yaoumi, before joining Echourouk News. Her significant contributions to Algerian journalism have been widely acknowledged, and her passing represents a significant loss for the media community in Algeria.
