Algeria’s Minister of Communication Laagab Offers Condolences on Passing of Journalist Mohamed Soltani

Algiers, Algeria | June 12th, 2024 — The Minister of Communication, Mohamed Laagab, expressed his condolences on Wednesday following the passing of journalist Mohamed Soltani at the age of 56.
“It is with great sadness and deep sorrow that I learned of the passing of journalist Mohamed Soltani, who died of a heart attack. Among his colleagues, he was known for his high moral and professional qualities. He had a rich career spanning over 20 years in the field of communication, contributing significantly both in print media and television where he hosted numerous TV programs covering current affairs,” the condolences message reads.
“In this painful ordeal, the Minister of Communication extends his sincere condolences and deepest sympathy to the family of the deceased and to all the staff of El Bilad channel, praying to Almighty Allah to grant the deceased His Holy Mercy and to welcome him into His vast paradise.”
