ALGIERS- Minister of Housing, Urbanism, and the City, Mohamed Tarek Belaribi, presided over a technical meeting yesterday, Thursday, at the headquarters of the National Housing Bank to discuss preparatory procedures for the launch of the “AADL 3” project.
According to a statement from the Ministry of Housing, the meeting focused specifically on the real estate situation earmarked for the implementation of the “AADL 3” project.
This meeting, the statement adds, concludes a series of previously held meetings between central directors, as well as the general director of the “AADL” Agency and directors of urban planning, architecture, and construction for all states.
This comes after taking into consideration the directives and instructions of the minister, including continuous coordination with local authorities and governors, and exerting all efforts to pre-determine all real estate assets before launching the subscription process for the “AADL 3” program.
This proactive step is considered essential for the success of the operation, drawing from the experience gained in the “AADL 1” and “AADL 2” projects, where real estate assets were a priority for expediting project launches.
During the meeting, after presenting a comprehensive overview of all real estate assets through GPS location technology available in 58 provinces, which the “AADL” Agency currently holds records of land selection and handover by governors, field outputs for these assets were programmed to determine their legal and technical statuses and their suitability to accommodate the “AADL 3” program. Discussions also covered the preparation of property contracts for the selected real estate assets to accommodate the “AADL 3” project.
According to the same statement, Belaribi commended the efforts exerted by the working team, issuing instructions to work on localizing the program outlined in each state based on what is available and to make further efforts to harness and identify all real estate assets for the localization of “AADL 3” projects.
Furthermore, a second meeting will be scheduled to present the digital platform that has been developed, as well as to discuss the urban and architectural nature of the “AADL 3” project, its technical specifications, and an organized meeting focusing on the legal and regulatory texts governing this program.
The meeting was attended by the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Housing and Urbanism, the General Inspector of the Ministry of Housing and Urbanism, the Director-General of Housing, the Director-General of Urban Planning and Architecture, the Director-General of the National Agency for Housing Improvement and Development “AADL,” the Regional Directors of Urban Planning, Architecture, and Construction, and the Regional Directors of the National Agency for Housing Improvement and Development “AADL.”
