Algiers, Algeria | September 11th, 2024 — Laid Rebiga, Minister of Moudjahidine and Rights Holders, welcomed the Secretary General of the National Organization of Moudjahidine (ONM), Hamza Laoufi, along with two members of the General Secretariat, Abdelouahed Boudjebar and Abdedaim Abdedaim, on Tuesday in Algiers, according to a statement from the ministry.
This meeting is part of the regular interactions aimed at fostering “complementarity and coordination” with representatives of revolutionary family organizations, particularly the ONM, which stands as a guardian of the principles of the November 1, 1954 revolution, according to the same source.
During the discussion, members of the ONM National Secretariat extended their congratulations to President Abdelmadjid Tebboune for earning the trust of the Algerian people to continue building a victorious Algeria. They emphasized the importance of remaining faithful to the values and pledges of the martyrs (Chouhada) of the liberation struggle. They noted that the successful conclusion of this national milestone strengthens the institutions of the Republic, enabling them to achieve significant developmental strides and meet future challenges.
The meeting also provided an opportunity to discuss preparations for the upcoming 70th anniversary of the Glorious Revolution of Liberation and the associated commemorative programs, the statement concluded.
