Minister of National Education to Lead Algerian Delegation at UNESCO General Conference in Paris

ALGIERS- Starting today, Tuesday, November 7, 2023, Professor Abdelhakim Belabed, the Minister of National Education and Chairman of the National Commission for Education, Science, and Culture (UNESCO), will actively contribute to the forty-second (42nd) session of the General Conference of UNESCO. This event will take place from November 7 to 22, 2023, at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris, France.

During this occasion, Minister Belabed will lead the Algerian ministerial delegation, representing our nation’s commitment to education and cultural advancement. The delegation will actively participate in specialized thematic committees, ensuring our valuable contributions are heard and considered.

It is worth noting that this delegation comprises representatives from various ministerial departments, including national education, higher education and scientific research, vocational training and education, culture and arts, as well as communication. This diverse representation underscores our holistic approach to education and culture, as we strive to foster comprehensive development in these vital sectors.
