ALGIERS- In an effort to strengthen trade practices and ensure the well-being of consumers, Minister of Trade and Export Promotion, Tayeb Zitouni, commenced an inspection and working visit to the Djelfa province, as announced by a statement from the ministry.
At the outset of his visit, the minister visited the wholesale market in the provincial capital of Ain-Ouessara, where he received a comprehensive overview of the current state of the commerce sector in the region.
During this engagement, Tayeb Zitouni underscored the imperative measures required to guarantee the seamless availability of essential consumer goods. With a strategic focus on the upcoming month of Ramadan, he emphasized the necessity for proactive preparations and an intensified control framework to safeguard consumer health.
The minister’s visit comes in response to the President’s directives during the latest Cabinet meeting, emphasizing the critical need to supply the national market with an adequate quantity of red meat and legumes.
