Algiers, Algeria | June 1st, 2024 — In a notable initiative to propel agricultural progress in Algeria, the Ministry of Agriculture has formalized a framework agreement of cooperation with the Algerian Economic Renewal Council (CREA). The agreement was solidified during the National Forum convened in Naama, dedicated to exploring promising investment opportunities within the region.
As outlined in an official statement from the ministry, the primary aim of this agreement is to forge a collaborative partnership between the two entities, with a focus on promoting agriculture and agricultural projects nationwide, particularly those deemed strategically significant.

Both entities pledge to work in tandem to attract domestic and international investors, showcasing the immense potential and opportunities inherent in Algeria’s agricultural sector.
Through this synergistic alliance, the ministry and CREA commit to identifying and surmounting potential obstacles that may hinder agricultural projects at various stages, from inception through execution to operational phases.
Key areas of concentration encompass the streamlining of bureaucratic processes, facilitating access to land, provision of essential support services, and advocacy for sustainable agricultural methodologies. Moreover, concerted efforts will be directed towards investment in research and development, aimed at propelling innovation and augmenting agricultural productivity.
