Moroccan Activist Badr Laidoudi Voices Support for Algerian Project, Rejects Expansionist Agendas of King Mohammed VI

ALGIERS- In a widely circulated video, Moroccan activist Badr Laidoudi launched a focused critique against Morocco’s monarchy, responding strongly to criticisms directed at him. Laidoudi expressed pride in supporting the Algerian project in the region and firmly rejected aligning with King Mohammed VI’s expansionist narratives.
Laidoudi emphatically stated his refusal to endorse the positions of Moroccan Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita, defending the monarch’s agenda, particularly in the Western Sahara. He underscored his commitment to standing against the Zionist project, which he stresses has gained influence within the Moroccan establishment.

He declared his refusal to support Morocco’s engagement in the Western Sahara at the expense of the indigenous Sahrawi people.
The Moroccan activist acknowledged Algeria’s leading role in the region, especially in the struggle against colonialism. He praised Algeria for imposing sanctions on an EU member state, showcasing its unyielding commitment to sovereignty and expressing clear stances, even in the face of international pressures.
Laidoudi commended Algeria for its transparent and forthright approach, both towards the United States and on the global stage. He recognized the country’s unwavering defense of its sovereignty and applauded its courageous positions.
