Moroccans Revolt Against Mohammed VI

ALGIERS- Last Friday, hundreds of thousands of Moroccans took to the streets, chanting slogans like “No embassy, no ambassador” and “Get out, you despicable,” as they burned the Zionist flag in a massive demonstration that underscored the growing gulf between the official (monarchial) stance complicit with enemies of the nation in the “Normalization Conspiracy” and the popular position committed to the Palestinian right to liberation.

The people revolted against Mohammed VI, expressing their authenticity and pride in their national, cultural, and Islamic heritage. From the legacy of Al-Khattabi, Al-Fassi, Abdullah Ibrahim, and Al-Mehdi Ben Barka to Abderrahim Bouabid, Fqih Basri, and Mohamed Ben Said Ait Idder, to the martyrs of the “Moroccan Struggle” and the Moroccan resistance in Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, and the Algerian revolution, the Moroccan people stand in solidarity against normalization agreements and their ramifications, aiming to reclaim the kingdom’s Islamic identity.

The massive protests in Morocco signify a powerful rejection of the normalization trend in the region and a strong affirmation of solidarity with the Palestinian cause. It highlights the deep-seated commitment of the Moroccan people to uphold their principles and values, rooted in their rich historical and cultural heritage.
