ALGIERS- The Moroccan Front for Supporting Palestine and Opposing Normalization has called on Moroccan citizens to participate actively in commemorating the 48th anniversary of Palestinian Land Day.
The National Secretariat of the Front appealed to all teachers, educational and administrative staff, students, and pupils in all educational institutions, in both the national education and higher education sectors, to commemorate the 48th anniversary of Land Day by organizing solidarity vigils during the morning break on Friday, March 29, 2024.
It also called for organizing activities and informational presentations on the Palestinian cause by educational clubs, special committees for this purpose, or initiatives by teachers and educational staff in general, to be held on the same day or during other days, especially after iftar meals.
The Front emphasized the importance of the success of Palestinian Land Day, which falls on March 30 of each year, commemorated by the Palestinian people and all free people worldwide since 1976, in defense of their land, identity, and sanctities. This day is crucial, especially in light of the difficult circumstances in which the Palestinian people are subjected to the worst genocide witnessed in modern history, involving killings, starvation, and displacement.
