ALGIERS- Morocco is presently facing a state of regional, continental, and international isolation due to the normalization of relations with the Zionist Entity and the defeat of Spain’s Prime Minister, Pedro Sanchez in the municipal elections.
This has resulted in a significant setback for the country’s diplomatic efforts and has led to a strained relationship with its neighboring nations. The situation has also had a negative impact on the country’s economy and created a sense of uncertainty among its citizens.
Recently, the Moroccan Makhzen regime’s attempts to embroil Portugal in a diplomatic crisis with Algeria have proven unsuccessful. Despite the Moroccan regime’s pressure on Portuguese Prime Minister Antonio Costa during his recent visit to the Alawi kingdom, he skillfully avoided Moroccan pressure and temptations. Instead, he announced his country’ support for the United Nations’ efforts to resolve the conflict.
Furthermore, Morocco’s decision to decline participation in continental sporting events organized by Algeria has exacerbated its predicament. This is due to the fact that Algeria is now in a favorable position to secure the opportunity to host Chan 2025.
In a related context, Algeria has consistently emerged triumphant in all cultural disputes with Morocco. This has been acknowledged by various international organizations and global entities, which have recognized Couscous, Rai, Caftan, and Zellij as authentic Algerian heritage.
