ALGIERS– The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Sahrawi Democratic Republic, Mohamed Sidati, has accused Morocco of having granted false entry cards to the delegation of the Zionists to enter the Nelson Mandela Hall, at the 36th African Union Conference in Addis Ababa.
According to him, this would not have happened if Morocco did not plot against Africa and impose its will on the other countries of the African Union. The minister also stressed that Morocco has become a threat to African Union countries.
Mohamed Sidati also said that Morocco was running as a candidate for the post of first vice-president of the African Union to block the road to Algeria and distort its right to this post. He believed that Morocco does not deserve to sit in such an important position, because it represents a threat to the stability of the African Union.
African countries have great respect for the Sahrawi Republic
The Sahrawi Republic was strongly present at the thirty-sixth conference of the African Union in Addis Ababa. The contributions of this country were noticed by the participants as the Sahrawi Republic has become a stabilizing factor in North Africa, an added value for the African Union and an important part of the African family.
The “luminous presence” of the Sahrawi Republic during the conference was illustrated by the intensive meetings that took place. This recognition of the Sahrawi Republic is important, particularly in a context where Morocco is trying to occupy a prominent place within the African Union. Morocco is indeed a candidate for the seat of first vice-president of the African Union, a position which, according to some, could serve to block the road to Algeria.
The Sahrawi Republic, for its part, has managed to find a place for itself in the African family thanks to its commitment to peace and stability in North Africa. This recognition is a source of pride for the Sahrawi Republic and for all those who support it in its illegitimate struggle for independence.
