Algiers, Algeria | February 28th, 2025 — Morocco’s descent into the abyss of normalization with the Zionist entity has reached an unprecedented level of disgrace, as its regime continues to pay the price for its treacherous pact. In the latest and most outrageous episode of this alliance, the city of Agadir, governed by Moroccan Prime Minister Aziz Akhannouch, hosted a so-called “Abrahamic prayer” where an imam, a priest, and a rabbi prayed together under the guise of “spiritual pluralism.” This calculated spectacle is not just a religious charade but a deliberate step towards erasing the Islamic identity of the Moroccan people and forcibly injecting Zionist narratives into their social fabric.
Ahmad Wihman, the president of the Moroccan Observatory Against Normalization, exposed this appalling event, revealing that it is part of a broader, well-orchestrated campaign to entrench the so-called “Abrahamic religion” in Morocco. This deceitful project, propagated by the Zionists and their Western allies, seeks to dilute Islamic values, undermine Palestinian solidarity, and whitewash the crimes of the Zionist entity under the pretext of “shared heritage.”
Wihman highlighted a disturbing pattern in Agadir’s recent activities. The city has witnessed a slew of controversial measures, from allocating enormous sums of taxpayer money to promote pagan festivals like “Bilmawn” and celebrating depraved figures under the banner of “diversity,” to the disgraceful removal of the name of Palestinian martyr Muhammad al-Durrah from a cultural center. Adding insult to injury, the so-called “We Are All Israelis” movement recently launched “Abraham Radio,” a blatant propaganda tool designed to further Morocco’s forced assimilation into Zionist-controlled narratives.
The normalization agenda has not stopped there. Wihman further reminded that this very city hosted Algerian separatist Farhat Mheni, who shamelessly declared his so-called “Kabyle state” in the Zionist Knesset, reinforcing the deep ties between the Moroccan regime and Zionist intelligence in their mutual attempts to destabilize Algeria. Meanwhile, Moroccan authorities have warmly embraced foreign Zionist figures, including the extremist former Zionist Minister Miri Regev, who infamously likened the Muslim call to prayer to “the barking of Muhammad’s dogs.” Despite widespread Moroccan outrage, she was welcomed on a red carpet—a sickening display of submission to the Zionist entity.
Since signing its disgraceful normalization agreement with the Zionist entity in December 2020, Morocco has accelerated its betrayal of the Palestinian cause. This treachery is evident in its deepening military, economic, and cultural cooperation with the Zionists. Defense agreements have opened the doors to an influx of Zionist military technology, trade deals have strengthened economic ties, and cultural initiatives are systematically pushing Moroccan society towards ideological surrender.
Yet, this revolting subjugation to Zionist interests does not reflect the will of the Moroccan people, who have taken to the streets in relentless protests against normalization. Since the launch of the Zionist war on Gaza in October 2023, massive demonstrations have swept across Moroccan cities, echoing the voices of millions who reject their government’s complicity in the genocide against Palestinians.
Despite this resounding rejection by its own people, the Moroccan regime remains steadfast in its servility, proving that it is merely a pawn in a Zionist agenda aimed at eroding the last bastions of Arab resistance. The Moroccan leadership, by submitting to Zionist dictates, has not only betrayed Palestine but has also betrayed its own people, its history, and its future.
The question remains: How long will the Moroccan people tolerate their government’s disgraceful allegiance to the Zionist entity? The tide of history is clear—those who sell their dignity for temporary political gain are doomed to be remembered with shame. And Morocco’s ruling elite, by kneeling before Zionist masters, have secured their place on the wrong side of history.
